I drew this caricature in 1996 as an illustration for an article I wrote in The Buffalo News as part of their "neXt" feature (a weekly supplement featuring news stories written by and aimed towards teens) This is probably my first "major" published work. For the article, I was given a press pass and got to meet Al backstage after a show when he came through Buffalo. This is actually a duplicate drawing I had done to replicate the original. I gave Al the original and he posted it on his website. All of his fan art is posted in chronological order. There are over 400 pieces to date, and mine is #11! http://www.weirdal.com/fanart11.htm
